In this session, Daniel Carroll and Maria Campanella of Hudson Wealth and Trust Planning Group (Canada’s top disability finance firm) will examine some of the key concerns around the Disability Tax Credit (DTC), deductible medical expenses, as well as the fundamentals of the Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP). In addition, they will touch briefly on how these fit into an overarching financial plan. They will explain the general do’s and don’ts of these key elements of disability finance as well as outline some of the considerations that people with disabilities and their families often overlook when planning for future financial management.
