A BIST Tradition: Come to a BIST Community Meeting!

BIST hosts monthly community meetings featuring a guest speaker on a topic related to brain injury along with time to share stories, information and tips with other people living with ABI and family members. Meetings are open to anyone and are held on a drop in basis.

Enjoy group art sessions, discussions and a FREE monthly community outing!

EVERY FRIDAY 3:00 – 4:30 PM
Community Outings and some Special Freaky Friday Programs may end at 5 PM.

Men & Brain Injury Social Drop-In

Calling all Men Who Live With Brain Injury!
​
Our Men and Brain Injury Social Drop In is a chance to connect with other men who live with brain injury in a supportive environment, facilitated by a worker specialized in brain injury supports.
​
In 2025, our group will meet 6:30 – 8 PM on the following dates:
Tuesday, May 13th, 6:30 – 8 PM (IN PERSON)
Tuesday, Aug 12, 6:30 8 PM (ONLINE)
Tuesday, Nov 11th, 6:30 – 8 PM (IN PERSON)

This group is inclusive of men of all ages, ethnic backgrounds, gender and queer identities, including trans men.
