Charcoal and white chalk on paper
Image Description:
Charcoal and white chalk drawing of a nude figure lying on their back with one arm resting on their chest and legs slightly bent, drawn on brown paper. The figures hair is loosely sketched, cascading to the side.
Artist Description:
This piece is a reflection of how my body felt post brain injury - fatigued, like I had lost the force that held me up and propelled me forward. I was left with a shell, a remnant of how I once was. I felt like I was falling apart. Of course, that needed to happen before I could transform into who I would become after brain injury.
