Artist Description:
I wanted to do a piece in reflection of my perception, of my physical apperance Ive struggled with since my TBI. When I look in the mirror, I don't see the person I know. I see a stranger in pain, injured, bruised and tired. The smile, glow and focused demeanor is gone.
It's dark on one side of the mirror. But I punch through it with such FORCE. it shatters. And the light reveals that what was hidden under it.
Artist Biography:
I am a published Author and Artist. I have had my artwork in art galleries and short stories published in anthologies. As well as won awards in school-wide or city contests for my art projects. I have been creating art in mixed media since I as a child. It all started with pencil crayons and paints. As I grew up, I tried different forms of art media. Such as animation, digital interactive plus website and graphic design. And still continue with traditional. My studio has been online for over 20 years and my past clients have ranged from: well-known brands to small businesses to individuals.
