Still Afloat lll is about keeping cognitive, physical, and emotional boats afloat while managing brain injury and chronic pain. It’s about optimism and resilience. A reminder of my own strengths. ​

Artist Description:
Journey After the Accident is an abstracted look at my car crash (I am the yellow triangle) and the aftermath. The yellow fragments represent life falling apart, and the red gyroscope stands for my vestibular issues. There is optimism in the lemons (one for me and one for my new partner) under the protective layer of our home, which shields us from the storm above.
