ABOUT WRAP

WRAP presents a system that helps people make their lives more the way they want them to be, to choose and enjoy more of the things they want to do, and to get through the hard times that can come with life challenges and transitions.
WRAP involves listing your personal resources, your Wellness Tools (coping skills), and then using those resources to develop Action Plans to use in potentially triggering or stressful situations, determined by you. WRAP is adaptable to any situation and is universal ― it is for anyone, any time, and for any of life’s challenges.

At the end of 10 sessions each person will have their very own personalized WRAP that consists of a Wellness Toolbox, Daily Maintenance Plan, identified Triggers and Action Plan, identified Early Warning Signs and Action Plan, identified Signs That Things Are Breaking Down and Action Plan, & Crisis Plan and Post Crisis Plan.
Each session will consist of a check in andcheck out with weekly goal setting and coping skill building that may include a brief yoga practice, breathing exercises, and mindfulness meditation.
Additional topics include WRAP Values and Ethics, Comfort Agreement, Boundaries, Resilience, Self-Talk, Sleep Hygiene, Self-Compassion and Key WRAP Concepts (Hope, Education, Self-Determination / Self-Responsibility, Self-Advocacy, & Support).
