Community Meeting – September 28, 2015

Our September community meeting is about positive psychology, with guest speakers Roby Miller and Amanda Muise from CHIRS. Positive psychology focuses on increasing happiness in everyday life. There are many practices associated with positive psychology that require a concsious effort to change thought patterns about the self and one’s experiences. For people with brain injury, there are many challenges to implementing positive thought routines. This meeting will cover simple ways to become more mindful of positive experiences to increase happiness in the moment.

Community meetings occur on the fourth Monday of the month. Light refreshments are served, and there’s always an opportunity to socialize after the discussion topic. These are drop-in events. See below for more information.
