Brain Injury Support Group

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle

Anger management

Friends and social networking

Appropriate self-disclosure

Time and budget management

This BIST support group allows individuals living with the effects of brain injury to meet others with similar experiences. The group offers valuable emotional support, information and resources and will enable you to meet new friends, become more familiar with resources in the community, and provide an environment where positive and negative feelings can be expressed without judgment from others.

Session Information:

  • The sessions will be facilitated by BIST Social Worker
  • Tuesdays from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
  • 3 meetings per month – 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Tuesday of every month
  • Registration is limited to a maximum of 15 participants
  • Held at Northern District Library – 40 Orchard View Blvd., Toronto, M4R 1B9
  • There is no Fee for this  program however participants must be members of the Brain Injury Society of Toronto (participants can become members of BIST during registration) - $5 Subsidized (for Survivors Only)
