Awareness Committee

Mandate:

To facilitate the coordinated efforts of the Brain Injury Society of Toronto in promoting brain injury awareness to the general public, as well as plan and implement ABI awareness event(s) for Toronto.

Volunteer Committee

Mandate:

To recruit and interview volunteers and help them find the right opportunities to best use their skills and meet their interest. The volunteer committee works closely with the other committees and staff of BIST to ensure the organization has the right resources it needs to offer services and meet the organization's objectives.

Fundraising Committee

Mandate:

To develop a sustainable base of funds to carry out the mission of the Brain Injury Society of Toronto (BIST) through the identification, development, implementation and management of profitable fundraising programs.

Mandate:

Plan, coordinate and implement social and recreation events/activities for BIST members.

BIST 5K Run, Walk & Roll Committee

Mandate:

Plan, coordinate and implement the annual 5k Run, Walk & Roll fundraising run that takes place every September.
