How to save money on your electricity and gas bills

At our May Community Meeting, Lilia Esi Shillingford from the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) will talk about how the OEB can help with your energy costs and help you make informed decisions about your energy consumption.

Learn:

  • How the Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) can help with energy costs
  • What you need to know about the laws protecting energy consumers from unfair or misleading business practices
  • How the OEB can help you with your complaint if you have an issue with your utility or energy retailer

All brain injury survivors and their family members are invited to attend BIST’s monthly community meetings.

Meetings are held on the fourth Monday of the month from 6-8 p.m., in the second floor meeting room of the Northern District Library. We feature a different discussion topic every month, serve light snacks and there’s always a chance to socialize afterward.
