Who We Are

BIST supports ABI survivors and their family members. Our members are children, parents, teens, spouses, and grandparents. Membership is open to anyone in the community with an interest in the challenges that come with living with the effects of brain injury.

  • BIST was honoured and pleased to be the recipient of a $2000 donation on behalf of Paul Gilkinson and the staff at WSIB.  Paul's brother Bill Gilkinson is a long-time member of BIST and a volunteer on our Special Events Committee, and his daughter Ainsley Gilkinson volunteers with BIST assisting with Public Relations and Media.
